Key Duties

  • ◆Complete work orders and preventative maintenance.
  • ◆Supervise the designated maintenance/production crew.
  • ◆Track budgets and ensure product quality.
  • ◆Schedule maintenance crews and production orders.
  • ◆Maintain logs and records for the maintenance department’s safety compliance.

Technical

Responsibilities

  • ◆Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on:
  • ◆Frozen Block Grinders, Final Grinders, Blenders, Augers, and Conveyors.
  • ◆Work with industrial equipment, including:
  • ◆Vemag portion control equipment.
  • ◆Tray Denesting equipment.
  • ◆Omori overwrap equipment.
  • ◆Delford weight price labelers.
  • ◆Ulma bag sealers.
  • ◆Pearson tapers.
  • ◆Bizzerba labelers.
  • ◆Various other industrial machinery.

Additional

Responsibilities

  • ◆Support team growth and drive continuous improvement within the department.
  • ◆Ensure compliance with OSHA and other local/state regulations.
  • ◆Instruct employees on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • ◆Implement ergonomic improvements within the facility.
  • ◆Perform additional assignments as needed.

Requirements

Education

  • ✓High school diploma required.
  • ✓Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred.

Experience

  • ✓3+ years of general maintenance experience.
  • ✓Strong electrical and mechanical skills required.

Summary

This position is responsible for managing four key goals: safety, downtime, budget, and overtime .
