Design, implement and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLC) and troubleshoot and maintain all electronic and electrical equipment.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

  • •Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment breakdowns.
  • •Effectively support the PM program while keeping downtime to a minimum.
  • •Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating and cooling systems, ingredient handling systems and plumbing systems.
  • •Start machines and equipment to test operation flow repair.
  • •Record preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner.
  • •Complete work orders and respond to mainte
  • •nance calls on the production floor in a timely manner to prevent downtime.
  • •Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul production equipment. Install and maintain electrical equipment/controls, circuits and PLC.
  • •Troubleshoot and identify worn parts and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators and other equipment.
  • •Safe handling and use of various chemicals with strict adherence to hazardous communication and requirements.
  • •Train others as needed and able to influence others.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

  • •Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to read and understand instructions.
  • •Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
  • •Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping of work areas.
  • •Work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • •Requires regular attendance.
  • •Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
  • •Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
  • •Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
