Job Summary
The Bulk Plant Manager position is a working management role and is responsible for leading and directing all areas of sales, storage, and distribution of petroleum products, propane, and lubricants for the bulk plant.
Primary Job Duties
- ◆Adhere and comply with the company’s handbook and company policies.
- ◆Manage day-to-day operations to ensure all services and deliveries are completed according to operating standards and customer expectations.
- ◆Hire train, motivate, coach, and mentor employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers, assess employee performance, and provide feedback as needed.
- ◆Build customer trust and confidence with consistently high service and delivery standards.
- ◆Check and set daily pricing of gasoline, diesel fuel, def, and propane for location.
- ◆Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies to meet customer needs and eliminate loss and waste.
- ◆Actively seek new customers and make sales calls.
- ◆Resolve conflict and take disciplinary action as needed.
- ◆Ensure DOT compliance including hours of service.
- ◆Coordinate staffing and work to meet organizational and operational goals and objectives.
- ◆Prepare departmental cost analysis and monitor operational metrics and reporting.
- ◆Audit internal processes and invoicing for accuracy.
- ◆Follow and ensure compliance with all safety policies and federal, state, and local regulations; verify completion of all required safety training, inspections, and recordkeeping.
- ◆Analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
- ◆Other duties as assigned.
