Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our production systems
Essential Functions
- ◆Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance
- ◆Maintain and support both existing and newly implemented systems
- ◆Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
- ◆Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities
- ◆Collaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutions
- ◆Deliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practices
- ◆Troubleshoot if necessary, processes and/or systems
- ◆Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.
- ◆Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space
requirements
to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Additional Duties
- ◆This person has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized. This person is a key contributor to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.
- ◆This person will ensure that all production systems meet safety
requirements
- ✓Assist other areas as requested.
Education/Skill/Experience
- ✓Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- ✓Some college in related field is preferred
- ✓Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and production teams
- ✓Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- ✓Programming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus
