Maintenance Technician

• •Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficiently.
• •Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems.
• •Work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.
• •Will work with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives.
• •Perform predictive and preventative maintenance activities.
• •Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• •Complete Timely and accurate paperwork.

• •Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferred.
• •Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
• •Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.
• •Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
• •Ability to install and set up both A/C and D/C drives.
• •Able to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuits.
• •Knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches.
• •A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• •PLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferred.
• •Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
• •Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• •Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
• •Ability to work overtime.
• •Basic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skills.
• •Corrugated background is a plus, but not required

• •3-person team
• •2 Maintenance Technicians
• •1 Maintenance Supervisor
• •Equipment supported on Day Shift:
• •5 pieces of equipment running daily
• •3 support pieces of equipment
• •2 additional pieces run as needed

The starting rate is $34 - $38 an hour , depending on your role, level, and location.
