- •Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify mechanical equipment and production machinery
- •Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- •Diagnose mechanical failures and minimize equipment downtime
- •Inspect, repair, and replace bearings, chains, gears, belts, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical components
- •Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges with tolerances up to .0010
- •Perform equipment inspections and document maintenance activities
- •Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency
- •Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability
We're looking for candidates with
- •High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical education
- •2+ years of Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanical Technician, or Industrial Maintenance experience desired
- •Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
- •Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- •Ability to read measuring instruments and work with close tolerances
- •Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- •Commitment to safety and quality
Manufacturing, food production, packaging, automotive, steel, paper, plastics, chemical processing, or similar industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred.
