Brief Summary of Primary Duties
- ◆Communicate and administer Prysmian Group policies and procedures
- ◆Ensure a safe work environment at all times
- ◆Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
- ◆Coordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenance
- ◆Resolve conflicts on the shop floor
- ◆Perform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keeping
- ◆Drive quality and cost saving initiatives
- ◆Guide, mentor, and lead shop floor associates
Specific Skills/Training Required
- ✓Computer skills & ability that allow them to enter data, use email, and basic office programs
- ✓Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- ✓Ability to use written work instructions to complete task
- ✓Ability to use measuring equipment –including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers,
- ✓Hazardous Waste Training
- ✓First Responders Training
Education
- ✓High School/GED Diploma - required
- ✓Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Experience
- ✓3-5 years manufacturing experience required
- ✓1-3 years supervisory experience required
- ✓Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing systems.
- ✓Experience utilizing production data, KPIs, reporting tools, and operational metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- ✓Lean manufacturing exposure preferred
Requirements
- ✓Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
- ✓Hearing Protection required in posted areas
- ✓Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
