Industrial Maintenance Technician

Printpack Bloomington is seeking an experience maintenance technician. The Electromechanical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs complex electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Working independently in a fast-paced environment, this position requires technical expertise to manage multiple priorities, minimize downtime, and support production goals through continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift for this position works 4 nights a week, 7PM-7AM.

This position is eligible for a $3000.00 sign on bonus.

• •Required to work in high places.
• •Required to ascend and descend ladders safely.
• •Safely operate mobile equipment.
• •Forklift Boom, scissor certification or ability to obtain certification
• •Ability to wear ARC flash equipment
• •Ability to wear respiratory protection as needed
• •Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)

Work Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to:

• •Noise levels above 85 dB
• •Operation of complex machinery
• •Solvents, fumes and inks
• •Concrete floors, roof areas
• •Working at heights, hot work
• •Works near energized and moving equipment
• •Variable Temperatures
• •Must be able to work flexible shifts
• •May require nights, weekends, and holidays.
• •An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only
