• ◆Champion plant safety by engaging personally and through departmental leadership to drive safety compliance, improvement projects, and associate engagement.
• ◆Develop front line production leaders and departmental culture by applying the Printpack Core Values and Expectations of Leaders.
• ◆Efficiently manage the production function by following established production schedules to maximize the utilization of equipment and associates within the department.
• ◆Uphold standards and drive out defects to improve product quality.
• ◆Provide coaching, performance reviews, and performance feedback to associates to ensure all performance goals of the plant in relation to 5S, safety, waste, quality, and productivity are achieved
• ◆Improve upon existing methods, procedures, and standards, or initiate new ones, to maximize production and quality, and minimize waste, without jeopardizing safety.
• ◆Partner with the Performance System Manager to transform the Production function through the Performance (Continuous Improvement) System.
• ◆Develop and execute staffing plans combined with talent development to achieve performance goals.
• ◆Track production performance through reporting and visual management tools to support Printpack Key Success Factors.

• ✓Experience in package manufacturing
• ✓Prior production department supervision experience including management of front line leaders
• ✓Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or business management related field preferred.
• ✓Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent)
