Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Production Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will plan, design, and implement production processes, ensure new product designs can be manufactured, and maintain the molding processes in production.
Your Priorities
- •Provides day-to-day technical support for the processes engineering in the plant.
- •Addresses internal and external customer complaints, conducts investigations, develops root cause analysis, determines countermeasures, and documents — using NAL problem solving methods.
- •Supports Program Management generated project macro-schedules with detailed engineering micro-schedules to ensure that all project milestones are tracked and completed on time.
- •Coordinates the design and purchase of new equipment, and manages installation and start-up.
- •Identifies Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VE/VA) ideas and standard parts to be implemented into new product designs.
- •Develops and updates/improves check sheets for all production equipment for preventative maintenance and machine condition.
