Maintenance Mechanic
Starting Rate
$30.05/hr + $0.75 shift differential

The Job You Will Perform
- •Perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition
- •Scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency/break down reports and maintenance (lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, observing operations, vibrations & noise levels
- •Following all safety rules and practices
- •Referencing equipment manuals and other technical literature
- •Contacting & working with vendors and sub-contractors
- •Accurately using measurement and testing equipment
- •Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system and other repairs and installations as needed
- •Safely operating the boiler
- •Accurately & completely preparing & maintaining maintenance records
- •Troubleshooting & solving problems
- •Maintaining teamwork with other associates
- •Keeping supervision informed of problems & other maintenance situations
- •Performing other maintenance duties, as assigned
The Skills You Will Bring
- •Candidates must successfully complete an online Non-Technical General Maintenance Test, an online Technical General Maintenance Test and an Interview
- •Employment Offers are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment Health Assessment, Drug Screen and Background Check prior to starting work
- •Ability to read, write and speak English
- •Well-rounded electrical, mechanical & machine shop skills and experience
- •Ability to learn and follow instructions
