Operations Shift Supervisor

• ◆Gather and analyze data for process optimization.
• ◆Make manufacturing decisions based on process control knowledge.
• ◆Assign daily tasks to hourly employees.
• ◆Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• ◆Engage the union workforce and hold them accountable to expectations and rules.
• ◆Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvement efforts.
• ◆Use Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
• ◆Drive superior safety performance and housekeeping practices.
• ◆Maintain quality standards to meet customer expectations.
• ◆Supervise at least 20 personnel and serve as the central knowledge source for shift operations.
• ◆Mentor and coach employees at all organizational levels to drive success.

• ✓Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.
• ✓Will consider entry level candidates with no working experience, will consider internship or project experince
• ✓Leadership abilities with strong decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• ✓Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and prioritizing tasks across plant operations.
• ✓Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• ✓Active listening and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
• ✓Work hours: 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• ✓Travel: Occasional trips to Corning, NY.
• ✓Required to sign a covenant not to compete.
• ✓Open to graduates in Spring of 2027

• ✓Have strong leadership, mentorship, and coaching capabilities.
• ✓Possess technical expertise in manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• ✓Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ✓Be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Occasional trips to Corning, NY.

The range for this position is $74,120.00 - $101,915.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
