Résumé
The one-page proof sheet plant managers actually read
Three projects, before-and-after numbers. How to build it in 45 minutes.
Plant managers skim résumés and read numbers. A one-page proof sheet next to your résumé answers the only question they have: can this person make my line better?

What goes on it
- Three projects you led or drove, each in four lines: the problem, what you did, the result, the tools.
- Numbers with before-and-after, for example scrap rate, OEE, changeover minutes, cost per unit, PPM or on-time delivery. Use your real figures only.
- Your toolkit in one line: PFMEA, control plans, SPC, DOE, 8D/A3, PPAP, VSM, SMED, GD&T, the CAD/MES you know.
- Standards you’ve worked under: IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, FDA, OSHA.
If your numbers are confidential
Use percentages and ranges instead of dollar figures, and never include customer names, drawings or internal data.
Bring it to every interview and send it with your résumé link after a good chat. It’s the page people forward to the hiring manager.
