Responsibilities

  • ◆Support the installation, startup, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
  • ◆Install, maintain, and modify PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, motion control, and industrial network systems.
  • ◆Diagnose equipment failures using electrical drawings, software tools, and test instruments.
  • ◆Assist in equipment upgrades, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • ◆Install and terminate motors, sensors, instrumentation, control panels, and field devices.
  • ◆Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, ladder logic, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • ◆Coordinate with equipment vendors and contractors during installations and major repairs.

Required Qualifications

  • ✓Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or related field; equivalent military or industry experience may be considered.
  • ✓Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and automation systems.
  • ✓Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar.
  • ✓Knowledge of HMIs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo systems, and industrial controls.
  • ✓Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.

Requirements

  • ✓Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
  • ✓Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • ✓Ability to work in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
  • ✓Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms when required.
