Responsibilities

  • ◆Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on different types of production and mechatronics equipment
  • ◆Help find, inspect, and assist with production equipment purchasing and initial install and setup
  • ◆Follow a preventive maintenance program to properly service and maintain all current and future production equipment
  • ◆Working with machine vendors and subcontractors to collect

requirements

and installation details for all new and used industrial equipment

  • ✓Equipment to be maintained and repaired includes: Automation equipment (robotics), CNC machines, process ovens, autoclaves, air compressors, material handling equipment, forklifts, fleet vehicles, vacuum systems, freezers, and Chiller systems
  • ✓Reports to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Required

  • ✓HS Diploma or GED equivalent
  • ✓Must be able to work Friday-Sunday, 6:00pm-6:30am
  • ✓Trade certificate, or minimum of 5+ years of experience in maintaining an Industrial/Manufacturing facility or equivalent
  • ✓Ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solution
  • ✓High Mechanical aptitude and Self-starter
  • ✓Experience with and comfort using industrial material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, boom lifts.
  • ✓Solid electrical knowledge (with a thorough understanding of electrical

We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.

Overview

An Equipment Maintenance Technician is needed for supporting the installation, repair, and maintenance of our production equipment at our Marina, CA facility for 4th shift Friday-Sunday, 6:00pm-6:30am. This position will support the R&D, design, production, flight test, systems integration, composite part fabrication, and construction teams.

There is a mandatory training that will take place before moving into the shift schedule for the position.

The initial training schedule is Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:30pm. The shift schedule is Friday-Sunday, 6:00pm-6:30am
