Responsibilities
- ◆Develop efficient CNC programs and related materials using tool drawings, fixture drawings, part prints, and associated documents.
- ◆Work with operators, lead people, supervisors, manufacturing engineers, and other internal and external resources to optimize old and new processes and assist in training of these processes.
- ◆Recommend new or revised tooling, fixtures, equipment, software, and process improvements to support efficient operations.
- ◆Conduct special studies, assist with capital research, serve on special teams, and provide support for Statistical Process Control (SPC) or other quality initiatives as required.
- ◆Proactively communicate operations, problems, and opportunities as they arise.
- ◆Take positive action to advance personal knowledge of manufacturing technology, CNC programming, CAM software, DNC technology, and related information.
- ◆Maintain appropriate records and documentation to assist in the control and evaluation of programming operations.
- ◆Assist in the development of a safe working environment through the use of occupational safety and health standards, including ergonomic principles.
- ◆Other related duties as required.
Requirements
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ✓Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Automation, or related AA or AS degree preferred.
- ✓Training or experience working with CAM software required; EdgeCam preferred.
- ✓Varied CNC operating experience desirable.
Requirements

- ✓Strong knowledge of general math, geometry, and trigonometry.

Primary function

Computer skills
- •Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- •Knowledge of computer basics required.

- •Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and all levels of corporate and company personnel.
- •Requires frequent contact with personnel from all departments, at all management levels, and outside vendors.
