Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of battery products. This role supervises production employees, drives operational performance, maintains quality standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • ◆Lead and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • ◆Monitor daily production activities to ensure schedules and targets are met.
  • ◆Promote compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • ◆Address production issues and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • ◆Track and communicate key performance metrics, including safety, quality, output, and attendance.
  • ◆Conduct employee training, coaching, performance management, and corrective actions as needed.
  • ◆Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

  • ✓Associate degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
  • ✓Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • ✓Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • ✓Experience with production metrics, workforce management, and continuous improvement.
  • ✓Battery, automotive, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
