Requirements

solid experience in a similar role in a heavy industrial environment; volt-meter use and live circuit troubleshooting; sensors, relays, fuses, motor starters, and VFDs; ability to read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics; diaphragm and hydraulic pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, sprockets, and drive chains; Allen-Bradley and Rockwell PLC troubleshooting and updates; VFD programming and troubleshooting; strong root cause analysis. Vibration, motion amplification, and infrared certifications preferred.

A metal manufacturing company in Carrollton, Texas is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a 2x2x3 night shift (6 PM to 6 AM) on a direct hire, hourly basis with overtime available, through Frontline Source Group. The technician maintains and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and keep equipment running to OEM standards, performs preventive maintenance per OEM guidelines, troubleshoots control systems, installs and aligns new equipment, reads schematics, documents work, follows LOTO, confined space, fall protection, and hot work procedures, and supports reliability and continuous improvement.
