Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling and testing aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and concrete masonry products to ensure compliance with industry and project specifications. This position also supports production operations and requires a willingness to learn concrete batching, equipment operation, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- ◆Perform sampling and testing of aggregates, concrete, and masonry products.
- ◆Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- ◆Document and communicate test results accurately and timely.
- ◆Evaluate results and assist in resolving quality concerns.
- ◆Coordinate with plant personnel, management, contractors, and inspectors.
- ◆Support ready-mix operations and production activities as needed.
- ◆Learn and operate loaders, forklifts, and other equipment.
- ◆Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- ◆Wear and maintain required PPE.
- ◆Work flexible schedules, including overtime and occasional night work.
Qualifications
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- ✓Previous concrete, aggregate, construction materials, or quality control experience preferred.
- ✓Valid driver's license required.
- ✓Ability to obtain required industry certifications.
- ✓Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- ✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ✓Ability to operate a 3⁄4-ton pickup truck with a 20-foot trailer preferred.

Requirements
- ✓Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- ✓Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and industrial environments.
- ✓Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
