Engineering Technician III

• •Perform analytical testing focused on materials science, including product performance, mechanical properties, rheological, particle characterization, and surface analysis methods.
• •Collect, organize, and report experimental data using established documentation practices.
• •Prepare chemical mixtures, polymer formulations, coatings, and laboratory samples according to established procedures.
• •Fabricate prototype materials and test specimens for development programs.
• •Operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate records of testing activities.
• •Perform routine equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities.
• •Support scientists and engineers in method development, process optimization, and prototype evaluation activities.
• •Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S and good laboratory practices.
• •Assist in the creation and revision of work instructions, standard operating procedures, and laboratory documentation.
• •Strictly adhere to all safety

• •Associates or BS degree in Science, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
• •High School Diploma or GED and applicable laboratory or industry experience may be considered in lieu of post-secondary degree.
• •Experience working in an analytical testing laboratory, manufacturing environment, or R&D laboratory is preferred.
• •Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• •Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• •Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and standard laboratory software.
• •Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary technical team.
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• •Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
