Responsibilities
- ◆Emphasize safe work practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE compliance
- ◆Troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, robotics, and plant systems
- ◆Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust equipment
- ◆Work with 120V, 208V, and 480V AC circuits; motor controls, VFDs, and soft starts
- ◆Perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability
- ◆Operate machine shop tools as needed (lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinders, saws, welders, etc.)
- ◆Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders
- ◆Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
Qualifications
- ✓2+ years industrial maintenance experience required
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ✓Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- ✓Experience with 480V electrical systems, VFDs, and motor controls
- ✓PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
- ✓Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- ✓Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime/weekends as required

The Tampa, FL plant has been operating since 1958 and employs more than 280 people. As a fully integrated facility, we manufacture and decorate batteries for automotive, marine, motorcycle, and heavy-duty truck applications. We operate six days per week and are proud to support our community through Metropolitan Ministries, The United Way, and Adopt-A-Road Tampa.

- •Training pay begins on 1st shift (minimum of 3 weeks)
- •Eligible for annual increases and quarterly bonuses (up to 5% of annual pay)
- •Overtime available and required as needed
Shift
- •2nd: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- •3rd: Monday - Friday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
