Responsibilities
- ◆Assist in the maintenance of all process equipment within the facility.
- ◆Learn the preventative maintenance schedule
- ◆Assist in building maintenance
- ◆Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools
- ◆Proficient in the operation, preparation and shutdown of equipment.
- ◆Proficient in welding, pipefitting, hydraulics, electrical (3 phase 480, PLC knowledge) and machine repair.
- ◆Cross training required in the roll grind shop
- ◆Trained and follow hot work program
- ◆Trained and follow working at heights program
- ◆Trained and follow Arc Flash program
- ◆Able to be approved to wear a tight-fitting respirator requiring fit testing.
- ◆Able to be certified in forklift operation
- ◆Able to be certified in High lift operation
Maintenance Technician
Qualifications
- ✓Must be mechanically inclined.
- ✓Minimum of three years of electrical experience (3 phase, 480v).
- ✓Willingness to learn welding, pipefitting, hydraulics, and machine repair.
- ✓Able to work overtime or on call.
- ✓Able to work with minimum supervision.
- ✓Pick up ordered maintenance parts, as needed utilizing the company van. – drivers license required.

Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician . The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting in providing effective and preventive machine/equipment/building maintenance to enable the company to maintain optimum production capability and product/service quality assurance. With Safety at the forefront. The training period expected to be a year depending on level of experience and technical skill. This role is located in Reading, PA and will be fully on-site.
