What You Will Do

  • ◆Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • ◆Perform repairs on compression and injection molding machinery, auxiliary equipment and maintain systems
  • ◆Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • ◆Repair and rebuild spare parts using hand tools, measuring instruments, blueprints and schematic
  • ◆Work with Team Leads, Quality Assurance Technicians, PTMs, Molders, Lining Technicians, and Printer Technicians
  • ◆Observe and enforce all safety, security, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, and HACCP programs.
  • ◆Maintain cleanliness of production areas and machinery.
  • ◆Assist with building and grounds repairs, including snow removal.
  • ◆Utilize EAM maintenance management software to enter and close work orders, track parts, and log labor hours.

Maintenance Technician | Silgan Closures | Tolleson, AZ

  • •Pay range $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience + $1.00 per hour for night shift
  • •12- hour shift 5:45 pm – 6:00 am or - Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • •Bi-weekly pay

  • •Schedule: 2-2-3 with every other weekend off – Friday - Sunday or Monday -Friday

What You’ll Need

  • •High school diploma or GED required
  • •3 + years of experience of industrial maintenance experience
  • •Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform maintenance tasks to the satisfaction of the Maintenance Manager
  • •Capable of working in a high-speed manufacturing environment with heavy-duty industrial equipment
