Responsibilities
- ◆Uphold a work environment with safety as a top priority.
- ◆Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol.
- ◆Oversee, manage, document, and direct all maintenance procedures and operations.
- ◆Manage capital projects and equipment obsolescence.
- ◆Ensure all facility regulatory standards and inspections are regularly up-to-date.
- ◆Assess current maintenance work processes to optimize efficiency and reliability and implement improvement plans.
- ◆Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future breakdowns.
- ◆Ensure all machinery is up to working standards by creating and implementing measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc.).
- ◆Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for equipment breakdown recovery.
- ◆Oversee repairs and spare part stockroom.
- ◆Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures.
- ◆Perform evaluations of employees and work performed to ensure quality of work.
- ◆Record and track daily progress/error reports.
- ◆Maintain vendor relationships and requisition new materials as needed.
- ◆Coordinate work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
- ◆Create and adhere to maintenance budgets.
