Quanex is looking for a Controls Technician - 1st Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm| Overtime needs vary daily during the busy season.
The hourly range for this position begins at $25/hr with opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis.

What Success Looks Like
- •Basic mechanical and fabrication skills with the ability to complete basic PMs
- •Understands fluid power basics and can integrate them into machines
- •Ability to troubleshoot effectively and uses correct measurement tools to identify problems
- •Has basic knowledge of industrial controls and wiring practices
- •Has understanding of PLC, HMI, and variable speed drive programming and installation
- •Is meticulous in maintaining existing documentation and developing new documents as needed
- •Can perform basic fabrication and maintenance with instruction

Your Credentials
- •Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience in a related field or a 2-year technical degree
- •Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- •Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
