Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician II- 2nd Shift to join our team located in Orwell, Ohio.
The Maintenance Technician will ensure robust operation of equipment through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
Hourly Rate: $25.93-$38.33/hr. commensurate with experience w/ possible increase after a 90-Day Performance Evaluation.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts- Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

What Success Looks Like
- •Performing general maintenance of all equipment.
- •Assisting in the implementation of new equipment and equipment improvements.
- •Performing thorough work and follow-through on the repairs through feedback from internal customers.
- •Communicate with other maintenance personnel and line workers to solve equipment issues and perform sustainable solutions.
- •Must be able to diagnose failed components and safely work on voltages up to 480V.
- •Must know how to properly use a digital voltmeter (DVM).
- •Continually coordinate equipment updates, and operational issues with off shift maintenance personnel and other team members as needed.
- •knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components.
- •Attend outside training and seminars for continual education.

Your Credentials
- •2-3 years of maintenance experience
- •Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other electrical components experience preferred.
- •Interpret electrical schematics
- •Ability to pass Electrical fundamentals
