  • •Developing and promoting safe work practices
  • •Maintaining daily records in a computerized maintenance system
  • •Applying technical knowledge to improve the conditions of all mill equipment, overhead cranes, etc.
  • •Utilize skills toward preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on all equipment

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
