Responsibilities
Maintenance Electrician
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following:
- ✓Able to read blueprints
- ✓Previous electrical experience – preferably in an industrial setting
- ✓Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training
- ✓Able to work outside in all weather
- ✓Able to lift up to 75-100 pounds
- ✓Able to read and write
- ✓Able to use basic mathematics
- ✓Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift
- ✓Able to pass mechanical aptitude test
- ✓Able to use ladders
- ✓Able to use lift trucks (i.e. – Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)
- ✓Able to use various hand tools and power tools
- ✓Able to work with a group or unsupervised
- ✓Ability to work various shifts and ‘on-call’ as needed
Requirements
- ✓Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman Electrician
- ✓Use 2-way radios
- ✓Wear task-specific Personal Protective Equipment
- ✓Comply with all safe work practices and procedures
- ✓Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Hourly wage for this position starts at $25.50 per hour up to $35.50 per hour depending on experience.
