Jabil is hiring an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to work onsite in our Auburn Hills, MI location.
How will you make an impact?
As a Quality Engineering Manager with Jabil, you will lead and manage the Quality Engineering team to ensure the highest standards of product quality, process compliance, and customer satisfaction within Jabil's operations. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, implementing robust quality systems, and fostering a culture of excellence.
What will you do?
- •Develop, implement, and maintain Jabil's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485) and customer requirements.
- •Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- •Oversee the development and execution of quality plans, control plans, and inspection procedures for new product introductions (NPIs) and existing products.
- •Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for internal and external quality issues, ensuring effective resolution and prevention of recurrence.
- •Collaborate with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams to integrate quality
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- •Strong understanding and experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
- •Proven expertise in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, Lean, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred).
- •Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- •Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- •Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- •Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and QMS software.
