Position summary
Oversee and supervise all Maintenance activities for the facility to achieve production uptime and yield goals.
Essential functions
- ◆Oversee all maintenance activities, including machine and facility troubleshooting and repair, preventative maintenance, and spare parts management.
- ◆Develop, maintain, and supervise maintenance staff within budget, including but not limited to scheduling, skill development, disciplinary action, and performance evaluation.
- ◆Organize and maintain spare parts and materials management system within budget to support maintenance activities, including accurate inventory accounting, sufficient stock quantities, sourcing, and procurement.
- ◆Develop, maintain, and execute equipment preventative maintenance system, using a CMMS(UpKeep-2023) in coordination with production
requirements
to achieve machine uptime goals.
- ✓Identify, procure, and maintain adequate machine tools to support the maintenance activities.
- ✓Oversee the mechanics are completing assigned work orders.
- ✓Employee is responsible for following (and/or implementing/supporting/maintaining) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Defense, Food Safety and SQF programs.

Education and experience
- ✓High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- ✓Must have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot equipment repair situations.
- ✓Must have prior hands-on mechanical experience.
- ✓Must have ability to troubleshoot process, mechanical, electrical systems; PLC programs; motor VFD’s and other electronic systems.
- ✓Majority of work is done walking, standing, bending, and squatting. Must be able to climb and work overhead. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to read maintenance manuals and write instructions.
US Salary Pay Range
$85,000 — $95,000 USD
