Requirements
- ✓At least 18 years of age
- ✓Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
- ✓Eligible for employment in the US
- ✓At least three ( 3 ) years of work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING
- ✓Must be willing to meet the following
requirements
- ✓Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)
- ✓Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
- ✓Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
- ✓Undergo an job related health assessment as a condition of employment
- ✓Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
- ✓Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
- ✓Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
- ✓Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
- ✓Wear required safety equipment
It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):
- ✓Associates degree or certification(s) in any of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING
- ✓A minimum of 3 years work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING
- ✓Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to
- ◆Install machine and equipment according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings
- ◆Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators and laser alignment equipment
- ◆Install machinery, new and existing equipment
- ◆Repair and lubricate machine and equipment
- ◆Refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, lime kiln
- ◆Measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters
- ◆Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues
- ◆Fabricate structural materials as needed
- ◆Other duties as assigned

This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
