Day Shift Plant Maintenance Mechanic

• •Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushing, screening, conveying, and processing equipment to maximize plant reliability.
• •Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support production goals.
• •Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and welding-related issues and implement effective repairs.
• •Conduct equipment inspections and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• •Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• •Demonstrated mechanical maintenance capability in quarry, mining, aggregates, manufacturing, construction materials, or other heavy industrial environments.
• •Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and hydraulic equipment.
• •Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.
• •Proficiency in welding, cutting, fabrication, and the safe use of maintenance tools and equipment.
• •Commitment to safety, teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• •Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

• •Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

• •Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, ladders, catwalks, and navigate uneven terrain for extended periods while inspecting and repairing plant equipment.
• •Ability to perform physical maintenance activities, including bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working in confined spaces.
• •Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move tools, parts, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier loads with appropriate assistance or equipment.
• •Ability to work safely at heights, around moving mechanical equipment, and in outdoor environments with exposure to heat, cold, dust, rain, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
• •Ability to wear and use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, fall protection, respirators, and steel-toed footwear, while performing repetitive tasks with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

• •Starting Pay $27.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)
