Drogue is building free-floating, off-grid energy platforms at sea for customers who can't get power fast enough on land. Using the ocean's thermal gradient, each platform generates affordable, baseload electricity with no grid interconnection queues, no permitting delays, and no fuel supply chains.

We're a small team of engineers taking on a first-of-its-kind challenge with proven hardware and first principles thinking. If you love hard problems and want to build something new, keep reading.

You make the plant run. Our platform is a tightly coupled system of electrical, mechanical, and thermodynamic subsystems operating in a harsh, remote environment. As our Electrical & Controls Engineer , you'll own everything from power generation and distribution to the sensors, valves, controllers, and software that operate the plant.

You'll start hands-on and grow a team around this work as we scale. You'll also be outward-facing, leading vendor integrations for major equipment and working with customers to ensure our platform meets their requirements.
