on a variety of production machines
- ✓Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications for troubleshooting malfunctions
- ✓Locate sources of problems by observing machinery in operation
- ✓Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
- ✓Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
- ✓Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- ✓Complete a shift turnover daily using a computer.
- ✓Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- ✓Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related company goals through the support of production

Position: Maintenance Technician - Night Shift
Job Overview
Greiner Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Pittston, Pennsylvania.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and preventative maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
You will have the opportunity to become an expert in operating and maintaining a variety of plastic processing machinery.
Process Optimization
- •Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance
Technical Expertise
- •In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
- •Understanding of Electrical control systems and ability to fault find electrical issues
- •Support departments in system and equipment troubleshooting and in technology transfer
- •Excellent troubleshooting skills
- •Be a champion of Continuous Improvement Activities
- •Must have basic computer and report writing skills
- •Good communication skills
- •Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
- •Good time-management skills
- •Responsible to ensure all Food Safety / Hygiene / GMP
