Industrial Maintenance Technician III 1st Shift

Maintenance Technician III is an Electro-Mechanical position and

will include but not be limited to supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.

• ◆Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• ◆Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• ◆Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
• ◆Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
• ◆Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current and resistance
• ◆Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• ◆Intermediate understanding of electrical safety and motor control circuits and programmable drives
• ◆Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
• ◆Complete projects to add electrical circuits and controls, new equipment and relocate machines
• ◆Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including repairs of cylinders and other components
• ◆Perform simple to complex mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
• ◆Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program
• ◆Monitor and report spare parts usage including completing parts order forms
• ◆Adjust equipment based on Statistical Process Control data and team with QA
• ◆Train new and Level 1 mechanics in more complex tasks and skills

• ✓Associates degree in related field is desired
• ✓Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• ✓Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• ✓Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
• ✓Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime as required
• ✓Proficient in Word and Excel
• ✓Must be willing to attend training sessions as needed, including out of state locations
• ✓Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians
• ✓Intermediate knowledge of fabrication (ex. welding, basic machining)
• ✓Possess strong work ethic and knowledge of intermediate troubleshooting
• ✓Able to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
• ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ✓Ability to work independently and within a team, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships employees, vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• ✓Ability to show attention to detail in a very fast paced environment
• ✓Flexible and willing to work overtime as required
