About the role
Responsibilities
- ◆Lead plant quality activities and support APQP and new product launches.
- ◆Develop and maintain Control Plans, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- ◆Prepare and coordinate PPAP submissions.
- ◆Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
- ◆Partner with suppliers, customers, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
- ◆Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies.
- ◆Drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- ✓3+ years of automotive Quality Engineering experience.
- ✓Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
- ✓Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- ✓Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- ✓Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- ✓Ability to be on-site in Morganfield, KY 5 days per week.
