  3. 3

Turn a reply into a short call

Questions worth asking about this team:

    • What does a normal week look like on your team?
    • Is the work mostly new product launches or sustaining existing lines?
    • How much time do you spend on the floor versus at a desk?
    • How did you land the job? What stood out in your interviews?
  4. 4

Apply with someone vouching for you

If the call went well, ask whether they’d pass your résumé to the hiring manager. Send your résumé link, apply that day, and let them know.

  5. 5

    Bring proof to the interview

One page of before-and-after numbers from projects you led: scrap, OEE, cycle time, cost. Plant managers hire on results.

About the role

About the role

Anduril's Fury team builds cutting-edge defense hardware in Columbus, Ohio, including flight vehicles, static equipment, and moving ground equipment, as part of the effort to rebuild the arsenal. You will rapidly iterate and industrialize aircraft-class hardware from prototype through rate.

Fury is Anduril's autonomous air vehicle (a Collaborative Combat Aircraft) designed to fly alongside crewed fighters. Manufacturing Fury means aircraft structures, composites, and complex electromechanical integration at scale.

What you'll do

Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain for a product, from prototype through rate.

Develop tooling for the fabrication and assembly of structural parts.

Develop process flows that break complex assemblies into a logical flow of subassemblies and sub-processes.

Author build documentation, including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.

Work with contract manufacturers across PCBA fabrication, metallic manufacturing, and assembly to develop repeatable processes.

Build prototype hardware hands-on with technicians and other engineers, and root-cause and resolve floor issues.

Operate with incomplete or still-evolving design inputs: ask the right questions, work from first principles, and create structure where none yet exists.

Preferred qualifications

Aircraft structures, composites, or advanced manufacturing.

High-rate manufacturing background in an adjacent industry such as aerospace, automotive and EV, industrial, or medical device.

Hands-on experience with R/C or autonomous flight systems, plus automation and robotics.

$111,000 — $147,000 USD
