Job Summary
Supervises production team in assigned department(s). Improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. Increase team skills and capabilities. Continuously improves level of associate satisfaction while improving efficiency.
Responsibilities
- ◆Supervise the safe operation of all production processes.
- ◆Continually monitors area and solicits feedback from associates.
- ◆Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
- ◆Supervise team members.
- ◆Ensures effective employee relations.
- ◆Resolves issues through problem resolution. Confers with management to resolve complex associate issues.
- ◆Interviews, selects, orients, trains, conduct performance appraisals, performance development, schedules and approves hours.
- ◆Provides leadership for associate relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development.
- ◆Executes operational plan to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout assigned production department(s).
- ◆Work with other functional areas to implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to improve quality, cost, on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, associate satisfaction.
- ◆Maintains production plan.
- ◆Ensures compliance with the organization standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, on-time delivery.
- ◆Provide training and support need to the team, set goals and objectives.
- ◆Measure team performance for safety, quality, delivery and cost. Work with team to continually improve these measures.
- ◆Other duties as assigned.
Education
- ✓High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- ✓7+ years managing a team or shift.
- ✓3-6 years with related technical experience.
