• ◆Leading the day-to-day operations of a production shift at 3M Springfield providing direct supervision to production employees such as Operators, Lead Operators, and Trainers
• ◆Implementing and managing daily improvements to meet business Safety, Quality, Service and Cost Goals
• ◆Determining priorities and assigning responsibility to meet customer needs in a safe manner
• ◆Creating an atmosphere of fairness, employee engagement and accountability

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following

• ✓High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• ✓Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• ✓Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role

Additional

• ◆Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• ◆5+ years manufacturing experience in a Union environment
• ◆Experience in one or more of the following areas: chemical operations, extrusion, coating or converting
• ◆Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools
• ◆Experience with shipping, receiving and warehouse operations
• ◆Flexibility to work any shift
• ◆Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a union environment

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Location: (Springfield, MO) Night Shift
